    It’s not easy being green.

By Paul Gleiser | August 27, 2008 | Print This Print This | Email This Email This

Democrats are environmentally conscious and the DNC took pains to promote the fact that this Democratic Convention would be the ‘greenest’ ever.

Green ideals and green reality, however, can be two different things. Watch the story below.

I guess you guys couldn’t really find much that went wrong with the DNCC the other night otherwise you wouldn’t feel the need to report on their trash! You guys are really getting desperate to try and find fault with anything they do. And by the way, you keep saying how you could just tell that Hillary was not a happy camper and that she didn’t unite the Democrats. I strongly disagree with you idiots. I’m a Democrat who voted for Hillary and she did a damn good job uniting us as far as I’m concerned. She convinced me that all Democrats need to pull together and vote for the best person who will lead us to a better America, and that person is no doubt Obama!! Go Obama!!!

Chill out, Helen!! Sheesh! That, Paul, was a very funny report! Oh man, I don’t see that as a poke at any particular party, rather a testament to the human nature. No good deed goes unpunished. Nice work!

so, you “drank the kool-aid”, eh?
i’m pretty sure that everything else that was wrong about the convention were things that have been hashed and re-hashed by those in the conservative punditry/blogosphere/etc … nothing new there.

this article isn’t even trying to report on everything that was wrong with it. actually, the point being highlighted here is the continual hypocrisy of “going green” among liberal politicians. the message they keep sending is “do as i say, not as i do.”

i’m not sure if their “going green” is supposed to inspire me, or make me admire them, or what… but it sure hasn’t worked yet. especially if they can’t even follow their own advice.
