    Hillary takes the lead.

    With 25% of precincts now reporting, Hillary Clinton has taken a 6,720 vote lead over Barack Obama. This is the first time tonight that Clinton has led. Obama’s early lead has eroded with each update.

    With 20% of precincts now reporting, Clinton and Obama are effectively tied. Obama’s early lead in Texas, once over 45,000 votes, has shrunk to 7,459 votes out of just under 1.4 million ballots cast.

    Hillary having a good night in Ohio

    As the race tightens in Texas, the gap opens up in Ohio. With 45% of precincts reporting, Hillary Clinton leads Barack Obama 56% to 42%.
