Police: Intruder Found in Bathtub

TYLER -- A man is in custody for allegedly breaking into a Tyler home and taking a bath. Around 3:35 Sunday morning, the Tyler Police Department received a telephone call involving someone who had kicked in the front door of a residence in the 3300 block of Garden Valley Road. Within minutes several officers arrived on scene and learned that the suspect was still inside the residence. According to a police report, officers found that the suspect, Larry Ticey, 25, had removed his clothing and was in the process of taking a bath. Police say following a brief struggle, Ticey was taken into custody and jailed for criminal trespass of a habitation, a class A misdemeanor.
