One in Custody in Tyler Robbery

TYLER One person is in custody in connection with a Tyler robbery. It happened just before 7:30 Saturday night in the parking lot of the Dollar General store at 1204 West Bow. The victim told officers while he was parking, and man got into his vehicle, pulled a knife and took some money from him.

When the suspect fled the scene in a white Chevrolet Impala, the victim followed him. When the suspect stopped in a parking lot in the 1800 block of West Gentry Parkway, the two got into an argument. The suspect is said to have damaged the victims vehicle and fled the area.

The victim was able to write down the suspects license plate number and gave it to police. The car was registered to Joshua OBryan Miles, 24, of Jacksonville. He was found sitting in the vehicle in the 1400 block of East Dawson, where he was arrested. Miles was booked into the Smith County Jail, charged with aggravated robbery.
