TYLER – Tyler ISD students have exceeded the standard set in three of the five Adequate Yearly Progress categories. All public school districts, campuses and the state are required to meet AYP criteria on the following measures: math performance, reading/English Language Arts (ELA) performance, math participation, reading/ELA participation, and graduation rate. On Wednesday, the State released the preliminary AYP results for the 2011-2012 school year.
