Jacksonville Robbery Suspect Arrested

JACKSONVILLE � A man wanted in connection with a string of robberies in Cherokee County is in custody. Kendall Lucas, 25, was arrested at a South Jacksonville apartment complex. He was already wanted on an alleged parole violation for a previous burglary charge. Jacksonville police tell KETK several businesses were robbed at gunpoint. Following the robberies, Cherokee County Department of Public Safety Troopers, Cherokee County Sheriff�s deputies and Jacksonville Police were are all involved in a search for Lucas. DPS helicopters also helped with the search.
