New Smith County Sheriff Sworn In

TYLER — There’s a new sheriff in town. Larry Smith has officially been sworn in as Smith County Sheriff. According to KETK, in a crowded Smith County courtroom yesterday, Smith was sworn in by Smith County District Judge Jack Skeen. He replaces Sheriff J.B. Smith, who has been Smith County’s Sheriff since 1977.
