Bullard Kid’s Park Seeks Volunteers

BULLARD — Volunteers are sought for this coming week’s construction of the Bullard Kid’s Park. Planners say the park is a “very unique” interactive park for kids of all ages, with separate areas for younger and older children. Guy Martin of the Bullard Rotary Club says 1,200 volunteers will be needed January 16-20, working four-hour shifts. The total cost of the two-acre playground is $250,000. When completed, the playground will be given to the City of Bullard, which will assume responsibility for its repair and maintenance.
