Teens Arrested After Reported Robbery


DocumentFragment_3845068GREGG COUNTY — Two Longview teens were arrested Monday, one charged with armed robbery and the other with possession of marijuana. It happened after police stopped a vehicle that matched the description of one involved in an armed robbery at Parkway Garden Apartments. According to the Longview News-Journal, witnesses and victims identified Conan Lars Rowley, 19, as the person who robbed them at gunpoint. An officer found a loaded .22 caliber pistol inside his vehicle.

Zane Cooper Selman, 17, was a passenger in the vehicle and was arrested and charged with possession of less than five pounds of marijuana. The officer found 4.3 ounces of pot in Rowley’s vehicle. Selman was held under $5,000 bond on the charge. Rowley was charged with aggravated robbery and held under $10,000 bond.
