Teens Arrested After Reported Robbery

GREGG COUNTY — Two Longview teens were arrested Monday, one charged with armed robbery and the other with possession of marijuana. It happened after police stopped a vehicle that matched the description of one involved in an armed robbery at Parkway Garden Apartments. According to the Longview News-Journal, witnesses and victims identified Conan Lars Rowley, 19, as the person who robbed them at gunpoint. An officer found a loaded .22 caliber pistol inside his vehicle.

Zane Cooper Selman, 17, was a passenger in the vehicle and was arrested and charged with possession of less than five pounds of marijuana. The officer found 4.3 ounces of pot in Rowley�s vehicle. Selman was held under $5,000 bond on the charge. Rowley was charged with aggravated robbery and held under $10,000 bond.
