cassie_thompsonKILGORE — A routine traffic stop led to the arrest and cavity search of a Kilgore woman. According to the Kilgore Police Department, Cassie Faye Thompson, 21, of Kilgore was pulled over Sunday and found to have two outstanding traffic warrants. KETK reports she was arrested and taken to the Kilgore Municipal Jail.

According to officers, while being booked in, Thompson made several nervous movements, which led officers to believe she was concealing something in her underwear. She was taken to a local emergency room, where authorities say a small baggie of methamphetamine was removed from her body cavity. She was given additional charges of possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence. Both charges are felonies.
