Garage Damaged after Vehicle Catches Fire

SMITH COUNTY � Noonday, Dixie, and Flint fire departments were called to put out a vehicle fire that sparked Sunday afternoon in Smith County. The fire started just after noon inside the garage at a home in the 13000 block of County Road 1113. The homeowner tells KETK he was welding on the vehicle when the fire first started; however, Noonday Fire Lieutenant Kevin Londoff says they are still investigating the cause of the fire. The fire did not damage the house, but the garage was heavily damaged. No injuries were reported.
