Funeral Services Set for Retired Broadcaster Rick Reynolds

TYLER — Funeral services have been scheduled in Tyler for Broadcaster Rick Reynolds, 71. Reynolds died Friday at Mother Francis Hospital. Services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 at Stewart Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow.
According to the funeral home’s obituary for Reynolds, he came to Tyler in 1974 to manage and resurrect KZEY and build KROZ. During the next 15 years he started 6 different stations around Tyler and Longview. He then started three more stations. Reynolds retired in July, 2009.
