Longview Woman Arrested Again for DWI
Posted/updated on: August 16, 2013 at 2:20 amLONGVIEW — A Longview woman on bond for DWI with a child passenger, has been arrested on the same charge. Jabina Janie Martinez, 34, was arrested Tuesday night. Her bonds total $6,250 on a variety charges, including possession of marijuana and driving while intoxicated with a child passenger younger than 15 years old.
The Longview News-Journal reports Martinez was pulled over by a state trooper who noticed she had glassy eyes, slurred speech, could not find her ID and was confused and unaware of her surroundings, according to the probable cause affidavit for her arrest. Her breath test showed her blood-alcohol content was .209, more than twice the legal limit. She was taken to Good Shepherd Medical Center, where she voluntarily submitted a blood sample and was later booked into the Gregg County Jail, police said.
