Two Busted for Drugs in Kilgore
Posted/updated on: August 24, 2013 at 7:49 amKILGORE — A traffic stop by Kilgore Police had led to two men facing drug charges. Police found in the men’s car 2.5 grams of methamphetamine, a digital scale and numerous small plastic bags. They also found a forged check, stolen checkbook and debit card, as well as stolen jewelry. KETK reports police arrested Bobby Lee Hampton, 38, of Hallsville and Dale Schelling, 26, of Longview.
Hampton was charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Credit Card Abuse, Theft, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Fail to Identity and Stealing/Receiving Stolen Checks.
Schelling was arrested for Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Forgery, Credit Card Abuse and Stealing/Receiving Stolen Checks.
Both men were booked into the Kilgore City Jail.
