Authorities: Three Arrested in Major Drug Distribution Scheme

MARSHALL � Harrison County officials say three people were arrested Wednesday night following a probe into a broad-based drug distribution ring. According to KETK, the Harrison County Sheriff�s Office reportedly seized several pounds of marijuana, numerous packages of marijuana ready for distribution, over 200 grams of methamphetamine, stolen weapons, stolen televisions, cell phones used for distribution, and money from the suspects. Galen Durden, 20, Camesha Robinson, 26, and Ivan Daniels, Jr., 18, are said to be members of the drug distribution ring on which officials say they gained information on throughout a lengthy investigation.

Information obtained by Sheriff�s deputies pointed to an address at 2400 Holmes Road in Marshall and another address of 1101 James Farmer Road. The locations were being used as the distribution location for this operation, officials say. Warrants were obtained for suspects who were allegedly running the ring. Officials say upon execution of the warrants, the numerous drug items and stolen items were located inside the homes. As the deputies were inventorying the items, the serial numbers were checked on the weapons and it was determined that three of the handguns were stolen. They were allegedly stolen during burglaries in Marion County, Franklin County, and Panola County.

Durdern was booked on possession of marijuana charges in a drug free zone with his bond set at $20,000. Robinson was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and two charges of firearms theft, with bond set at $72,500. Daniels, Jr., was arrested for posession of marijuana with his bond being set at $27,500.
