Man in Jail for Many 911 Calls

Reagan Marshall WagnerLONGVIEW — A Longview man has been arrested after being accused of making repeated, abusive calls to 911. Reagan Marshall Wagner, 22, is charged with silent or abusive calls to 911, and terroristic threat against a public servant. He was booked into the Gregg County Jail on a bond of $2,000.

Wagner is said to have called 911 a total of 12 times in a span of just over one hour. The caller reported that a friend of his was the victim of a robbery. He is said to have refused to provide more information. The man is said to have cursed and yelled threats to harm communications staff and officers. He is said to have threatened to shoot officers in the head and that he was coming to the police department and start shooting.

Officers traced the caller’s cell phone to the 200 block of Kimberly Lane in Longview. When they arrived at the address, Wagner was standing outside using the cell phone. He was said to have become verbally abusive to the officers.
