TxDOT logoTYLER — Here’s a quick look at other work planned in the Tyler District of the Texas Department of Transportation.

SMITH COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue resurfacing operations on Farm Road 15 between Troup and Wright City. A second crew is scheduled to resume base and pavement repairs on State Highway 155 in Winona, and on State Highway 135 between Troup and Arp. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.

GREGG COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue shoulder work on the U.S. Highway 259-Kilgore Bypass between the south end and Farm Road 349. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.

WOOD COUNTY – Construction work to add passing lanes to U.S. Highway 69 between Loop 564 in Mineola and Farm Road 779 in Golden is scheduled to continue this week with crews performing edge work in various locations in the work area. The $2.8 million project is scheduled for completion next summer. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress. Motorists are encouraged to be prepared to reduce speed and merge in and around the work zone.

VAN ZANDT COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue approximately two weeks of pavement-repair and resurfacing work on U.S. Highway 80 between Fruitvale and Waldrip Street in Grand Saline. Elsewhere in Van Zandt County, TxDOT maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform resurfacing operations on Farm Road 3227 between Farm Road 47 and State Highway 198 south of Canton. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress. Motorists are encouraged to be prepared to reduce speed and merge in and around the work zones.

RUSK COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue base and pavement repairs on Farm Road 1798 between U.S. Highway 79 south of Henderson and the new overpass at U.S. Highway 259. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.

ANDERSON COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to make base and pavement repairs in various locations on Farm Road 319 between State Highway 294 west of Elkhart and the end of state maintenance in Redtown. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.

HENDERSON COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue pavement repair and resurfacing operations on Farm Road 1615 between State Highway 19 south of Athens, and the end of state maintenance. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.
