Nacogdoches County Man Accused of Beating His Wife

NACOGDOCHES — A Nacogdoches County man has been arrested, accused of beating his wife. Charged with aggravated assault, family violence, is David Buchanan, 59. His wife, who was severely beaten and had internal injuries and several broken bones, is in the intensive care unit of a Nacogdoches hospital. He was found asleep in his home on Highway 7 East around 10:00 Tuesday morning, and was taken into custody.
