Longview Home Partially Damaged by Fire

LONGVIEW � The Longview Fire Department responded to a home fire in the 500 block of Oakdale Avenue yesterday morning. According to Longview Fire Marshal Johnny Zackary, the fire broke out around 6:00 at a house undergoing renovations. Zackary tells KETK there was significant roof damage and the utility area was destroyed. About 30 percent of the home was damaged in the blaze. The home was vacant at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation.
