TxDOT logoTYLER — Here’s a quick look at other work planned in the Tyler District of the Texas Department of Transportation.

SMITH COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue base and pavement repairs on State Highway 135 between Troup and Arp. A second crew is scheduled to continue edge repairs on Farm Road 2710 between Farm Road 16 in Lindale and Farm Road 14 near Red Springs. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.

GREGG COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to begin base and pavement-repair work on the U.S. Highway 259-Kilgore Bypass between the north end and Farm Road 1249. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.

HENDERSON COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to conclude base and pavement repairs in and around the intersection of State Highway 31 and Farm Road 315 in Chandler. A second crew is scheduled to continue pavement repair and resurfacing operations on Farm Road 1615 between State Highway 19 south of Athens, and the end of state maintenance. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.

RUSK COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform edge repairs on southbound U.S. Highway 259 between Farm Road 850 and Loop 571 in Henderson. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.

WOOD COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform ditch work on Farm Road 2869 near Holly Lake Ranch. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.

VAN ZANDT COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform edge repairs on Farm Road 859 between Farm Road 1395 north of Edgewood and State Highway 19 near the Rains County Line. A second crew is scheduled to perform the same work on Farm Road 1805 between Van and Jamestown. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress. Motorists are encouraged to be prepared to reduce speed and merge in and around the work zone.

CHEROKEE COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to make base and pavement repairs on Farm Road 13 east of Troup, while a second crew makes edge repairs on Farm Road 747 north of U.S. Highway 79 outside of Jacksonville. Elsewhere, crews are schedule to perform edge repairs in various locations on Farm Road 1911 near Alto and U.S. Highway 69 between Rusk and Alto. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic in two-lane areas.

ANDERSON COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue base and pavement repairs on U.S. Highway 287 between Elkhart and the Houston County Line. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.
