7yosexoffenderhcsoATHENS A Brownsboro man awaits punishment after being convicted of the aggravated sexual assault of a seven-year-old family member. The verdict came down from the bench late Saturday afternoon in Athens against Christopher Swofford, 33. According to KETK, Swofford was also convicted of indecency with a child by sexual contact and indecency with a child by exposure. The trial involved testimony from Swoffords wife, Sasha, who had previously been convicted in June by a Henderson County Jury for acts arising out of the same events.

The court observed evidence including four hours of homemade pornography in which Swofford discussed sexual offenses with young children while engaging in sadomasochistic acts with his wife, according to officials. The trial included testimony from the seven-year-old victim. The child graphically described the offenses committed by the Swoffords, which also involved another younger five-year-old family member, according to authorities. Punishment will be assessed by the judge on January 9, 2014, at 10:00am, following a punishment hearing.
