An Award for a U-T Tyler Employee

TYLER — The Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities has named the University of Texas at Tyler’s Jennifer Skinner as �South Central Adviser of the Year.� APCA, a national campus events and educational training organization, annually recognizes outstanding individuals who go above and beyond in their role as student organization advisers. Students and colleagues nominate recipients.

Serving UT Tyler since December 2007, Skinner is the U-T Tyler student development specialist who oversees campus activities as well as the UT Tyler Campus Activities Board adviser. A UT Tyler alumna, Skinner is among the five 2013 regional recipients who are finalists for APCA�s National Adviser of the Year. The South Central Region includes Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
