ETCF TransCanada ck presTYLER – The East Texas Communities Foundation announces the establishment of the TransCanada Charitable Fund, a $125,000 program that will provide grants to qualifying non-profit organizations in 18 Texas counties over the next 4 years. According to an ETCF news release, the fund is designed to help improve East Texas communities and the lives of its residents through grants of up to $5,000 to qualifying non-profit organizations in the counties where TransCanada pipeline operations and projects exist.

“East Texas Communities Foundation is pleased to support TransCanada’s charitable initiatives for the East Texas region by administering a grant application process to identify and select meaningful projects. This charitable fund is a win-win for ETCF and TransCanada. “We’re pleased to establish the TransCanada Charitable Fund that will contribute to the well-being of East Texas residents,” said Corey Goulet, Vice President, Keystone Pipeline Projects. “At TransCanada, being a good neighbor and contributing to communities is an integral part of our success. The establishment of the fund is another example of our commitment to long-term community investment and our dedication to the people of East Texas.”
