One Arrested in Nacogdoches Stabbing Death

NACOGDOCHES — One person has been stabbed to death in Nacogdoches. A suspect is in custody. It happened around 11:30 Thursday night in the 300 block of West Spradley Street. Derek Maiden, 42, of Nacogdoches died in a local hospital after being stabbed once in the upper part of his body. KETK says Paula Yvette Harris, 39, was arrested and charged with murder in the case. After being arrested, she reported feeling ill, and was taken to the hospital.
