Another Chance to Weigh In on TRZ

LINDALE � Smith County citizens are invited to attend another transportation-related public meeting. Again, the primary topic of discussion will be the proposed Smith County Transportation Reinvestment Zone (TRZ), Number One (Toll 49 Reinvestment Zone). The meeting will be at Lindale City Hall tonight at 7:00. It is being held in conjunction with the Lindale City Council meeting. It�s to be hosted by Commissioner Pct. 3 Terry Phillips. Several similar meetings have been held recently around the county. The project would capture 50% of future property taxes along a designated Toll 49 corridor for construction on Toll 49 and adjoining highways.
