KETK reports the sheriff’s office executed a search warrant December 5 on the Lejeune home, where investigators say they found child pornography and improper visual recordings allegedly made at his residence. Lejeune was not at the house during the execution of the warrant but was later found at work. Investigators conducted an interview with Lejeune, who reportedly gave a confession to the evidence allegedly found at his home.

Sheriff Jason Bridges says investigators have since been busy reviewing evidence found at the scene. Investigators say they’ve uncovered numerous DVDs that were reportedly found in Lejeune’s bedroom. Bridges stated that there are over 150 videos of improper visual recordings and over 30 videos of child pornography that were downloaded by Lejeune. During the investigation, authorities say they uncovered a child sexual assault that allegedly took place at Lejeune’s home in 1999. Lejeune was interviewed about the sexual assault and confessed to that crime, according to officials.

The Nacogdoches County Sheriff ‘s Office obtained two more warrants for Lejeune Tuesday for aggravated sexual assault of a child and possession of child pornography. Sheriff Bridges claimed the computers taken from Lejeune’s residence are still being processed by the Lufkin Police Department and more charges may still be filed at the conclusion of the case. Lejeune has been awaiting arraignment in the Nacogdoches County Jail on the two felony charges filed against him. The Texas Rangers, FBI, and Lufkin Police Department are assisting in the investigation, and bonds have been set at $200,000 on the two new charges.
