Tyler Police Searching for Robbery Suspect

TYLER — Tyler Police responded to a report of a robbery at a local gas station yesterday afternoon. Officials said it happened around 1:00 in the 6500 block of South Broadway at the Valero gas station. According to the clerk, a male subject entered the store and demanded the money from the register. The clerk said the suspect did not display any weapons during the robbery. She described him as approximately 5’08, slender build, wearing a blue and black plaid jacket with a light colored hoodie underneath, blue jeans, black and white sneakers and blue gloves. The suspect was also wearing a dark colored mask over his face. The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
