Reward Increases in Crude Oil Theft Probe

QUITMAN — Wood County Crime Stoppers has increased the reward for information about the person(s) responsible for the theft of raw crude oil in the county. KETK reports three thefts have occurred so far over the past seven weeks and have resulted in the loss of over 300 barrels of oil from three locations in the Farm to Market 2966 and Farm to Market Road 69 area of Wood County. These thefts occurred November 7-8, December 14-15, and December 22-23. Anyone with any information is asked to call 903-763-2274. If your information leads to the identification and/or arrest of the person(s) responsible, you may be eligible for a reward of up to $3,000.
