Man Dies in Mobile Home Fire

ARP � A 93-year-old man was killed in a early morning mobile home fire in the Arp area. Killed was was a former minister and World War II veteran Leon Hackett. His wife recently passed away and he lived alone in the mobile home. The blaze erupted around 3:00 Wednesday morning on Highway 135 and County Road 2153. Officials with the Smith County Fire Marshal�s Office tell KETK they believe a wood-burning stove was the cause of the blaze.
