Elderly East Texan Arrested after Allegedly Shooting Gun at Car

GOLDEN � An elderly East Texas man has been arrested for reportedly shooting a gun at a car in Wood County. KETK reports Harold Long, 82, of Mineola, was detained after officials received calls around 5:15 Tuesday afternoon that he was reportedly shooting at a car with a shotgun. Deputies were dispatched to the scene on Farm to Market Road 1799 near Golden. Long was booked into the Wood County Jail and charged with deadly conduct. His bond has been set at $10,000.
