System-Wide Outage Planned by Tyler IT Department

TYLER — The City of Tyler IT Department will be making necessary upgrades to its network on Feb. 5, according to a news release. The upgrade will begin at 12:01 a.m. and is expected to take approximately four hours, affecting all city systems. Employees will not be able to access any city systems or resources. Citizens will not be able to access any city websites or online bill payment systems. Officials say this maintenance window will allow any upgrades or changes that require system outages to be completed at this time. According to the news release, “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause your department and we hope to have the network back up as soon as possible.”
