thumb_skip-ogle-3AUSTIN – The battle for endorsements continues in the hotly-contested Texas House District 6 race, focusing of late on the medical front. The Texas Radiological Society political action committee (TRS-PAC) Wednesday announced its endorsement of Skip Ogle, who’s challenging incumbent Matt Schaefer in the GOP primary.

Ogle responded, “The physicians who make up TRS and the entire medical community are a vital part of the communities in HD 6 and across the state. I appreciate their support and look forward to the opportunity to work with them on important issues in the upcoming 2015 legislative session and beyond.” The TRS-PAC says it supports Ogle “because of his unwavering desire to become a champion and leader in the Texas Legislature and his dedication to the patients served by radiologists and imaging professionals.” This past weekend, Schaefer was endorsed by a group of East Texas physicians.
