Longview Home Heavily Damaged by Fire; Possible Cause Named

LONGVIEW � Authorities think a major house fire in Longview�s Spring Hill area started from an electrical problem in the house�s attic. The residence sustained extensive damage, and Longview Fire Marshal Johnny Zackary says the structure may be a total loss. According to the Longview Fire Department, the blaze broke out around 11:45 Tuesday morning in the 2900 block of Graystone Road. Authorities tell KETK the fire began in the kitchen and quickly spread throughout the house. There were no injuries, and nobody was home at the time of the blaze. Graystone Road was blocked while officials were extinguishing the fire.
