Man Hospitalized after Stabbing
Posted/updated on: March 7, 2014 at 2:42 pmKILGORE — An East Texas man was hospitalized Wednesday morning following a physical argument with a co-worker at a Kilgore business. KETK reports that at 7:15 a.m. police were dispatched to a scene in the 800 block of South Rusk Street on reports of a stabbing, according to a police lieutenant. When officers arrived at JDW Services, they learned Dionicio Vasquez, 62, of Kilgore had allegedly stabbed Samuel Milan, 52, in the area of his left abdomen during a dispute. Milan was treated for minor injuries and released from a local hospital the same day. Vasquez was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was booked into the Gregg County Jail, and bond was set at $100,000 by Judge Glenn Phillips.
