Two Injured in Tyler Accident

TYLER — A vehicle/pedestrian accident in Tyler has injured two persons. It happened around 8:00 Tuesday night in the 200 block of South Englewood. Sergeant Paul Robeson says Vanessa Zamora, 31, saw her three year old daughter running towards the street. The mother tried to keep her daughter from getting hit, and in the process, both were hit by the vehicle. They were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries. This accident is still under investigation and no citations have been issued at this time.
