Funeral Services for Fire Marshal Jim Seaton Set for Today

TYLER � Funeral services are set for Smith County Fire Marshal Jim Seaton. Seaton died Thursday morning at age 65 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Seaton had been with the county 27 years and served as county fire marshal the past 14 years. �Jim will be greatly missed by Smith County citizens and the Smith County Fire Marshal�s Office,� said Assistant Fire Marshal Connie McCoy-Wasson. Funeral services for Seaton will be this afternoon at 1:30 at Green Acres Baptist Church with burial in Tyler Memorial Park.
