TYLER — Tyler will once again be a host site for the worldwide Leadercast 2014 conference taking place on Friday, May 9. The Tyler venue will be the Green Acres Crosswalk Conference Center. The one day event is broadcast live from Atlanta, Georgia. This year’s theme, “Beyond You,” challenges leaders to focus outward rather than inward, according to press materials. “Leadercast is a top-quality learning opportunity and will benefit all who want to improve themselves and have a positive impact on others,” said Carroll Roge, president of Leadership Tyler.

Speakers include:
• Andy Stanley-leadership communicator and best-selling author
• Malcolm Gladwell- journalist and best-selling author
• Archbishop Desmond Tutu- nobel laureate and human rights activist
• Randall Wallace- screenwriter, director, producer and songwriter
• Bill McDermott- CEO of SAP AG
• Laura Schroff- former advertising sales executive and best-selling author
• Dr. Henry Cloud- clinical psychologist and leadership consultant
• Simon Sinek- leadership expert and best-selling author
• Laura Bush- former First Lady of the United States

“This is an excellent day of leadership training for your business,” said Roge. “This program hopes to change the way the world thinks about leadership. Companies can bring employees for a day of energizing leadership training without having to travel.”

In 2013, 600 community leaders attended the event and this year the conference can seat 800. This time you can also reserve a table for your company for an extra fee. Snacks and lunch will be provided by Chick-fil-A. Door prizes will be given and booths will be set up with information from sponsor businesses. Books will also be available for purchase from the speakers, and each participant will also receive a workbook with information about each speaker’s topic.

The program will begin with registration at 7 a.m., with the first session starting at 8 a.m. The program will conclude by 3:30 p.m. For more information, visit http://www.leadershiptyler.org or contact Colleen Colby at 903-535-9242.
