TYLER — Here’s a quick look at other work planned in Smith County by the Tyler District of the Texas Department of Transportation.
SMITH COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to make base and pavement repairs on State Highway 64 between West Loop 323 and Farm Road 724 near Tyler Pounds Regional Airport. Meanwhile, a second crew is scheduled to continue base and pavement repairs on East Loop 323 between the Loop 323 Extension and Commerce Street. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and motorists should be prepared to reduce speed and merge in and around the work zone.
GREGG COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform shoulder work in the recently resurfaced areas on Farm Road 2087 between South Loop 281 in Longview and Interstate 20, followed upon completion by the same work on Farm Road 2605 between Longview and White Oak. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic..
WOOD COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform resurfacing operations on Farm Road 1643 east if Quitman between State Highway 37 and Farm Road 515. A second crew is scheduled to continue edge work on U.S. Highway 80 between Mineola and Crow. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.
CHEROKEE COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled perform shoulder and edge work on State Highway 204 between Loop 456 in Jacksonville and State Highway 110 in Ponta. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.
ANDERSON COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform resurfacing operations in various locations on Farm Road 321 between State Highway 155 in Mound Prairie and Farm Road 2574 in Neches. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.
HENDERSON COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue surface-sealing operations on Farm Road 3062 near Star Harbor and on Farm Road 1214 near Caney City. A second crew is scheduled to continue spot resurfacing operations on Farm Road 59 in Athens between State Highway 19 and Loop 7. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.
RUSK COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform base and pavement repair on Farm Road 3055 between U.S. Highway 84 west of Mount Enterprise and the end of state maintenance. A second crew is scheduled to continue base and pavement repair work on Farm Road 95 between State Highway 315 and Farm Road 1798. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress and flaggers will control traffic.
