Officials: Harrison County Jailer Killed in Accidental Shooting

MARSHALL � A Harrison County jailer was killed after his gun accidentally discharged. Deon John Adams, 22, of Marshall, was found dead at his home in the 900 block of Alvin Street around 12:45 yesterday morning said Harrison County Sheriff�s Office Investigator Jay Webb. The Marshall Police Department responded to the scene. KETK reports Adams had been a jailer with the sheriff�s office since last August. No foul play is suspected.
