police-tyler-car2TYLER — Tyler Police are investigating a series of crimes that they believe are related. Officers responded to a report of an aggravated robbery at 5709 Mustang Trail Sunday night around 9:35. The victim told officers he had been robbed at gunpoint by two black males wearing dark colored hoodies. The victim said he was struck in the head with a handgun and his cellphone was stolen by the suspects who fled on foot. The victim suffered minor injuries.

About 45 minutes later, officers responded to another aggravated robbery complaint, this one at 1909 Sybil Lane. The victim said two black males wearing dark colored hoodies approached her, one pointed a gun at her and demanded her debit card. The suspects then fled on foot.

Tyler Police said just before 11:00, they received a report of a residential burglary at 2103 W. Jackson Street. The resident said three black males knocked on the door and barged in, with a gun in hand, when the victim answered. The suspects reportedly demanded money. One of the suspects was a heavy set male wearing a dark colored hoodie. The second suspect was tall and thin wearing a black T-shirt. No description of the third man. The suspects stole two cellphones and left the area on foot.

Due to the descriptions of the suspects and the times at which these incidents occurred, it is believed the three crimes are related. Contact authorities with any information.
