TISD Names New Athletic Director

TYLER � The new Athletic Director for the Tyler School District is Gregg Priest. He was hired by school trustees Monday night and introduced at a news conference Tuesday morning. An East Texas native, Coach Priest comes to Tyler from Baylor University, where he has served as men�s head golf coach since 2003. Prior to his years in Waco, he has coached in golf programs at The University of Texas at Austin, Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Tyler Junior College and Pleasant Grove ISD.
