Tyler Pedestrian Struck By Car

TYLER — Tyler Police responded to a report of a vehicle/pedestrian accident early Wednesday morning. It happened in the 900 block of North Beckham Ave. around 2:40. Authorities said a grey Impala struck a Hispanic man, who was said to be walking in the road. The pedestrian suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to East Texas Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the vehicle was not shown at fault for the accident and alcohol does not appear to have played a role in the incident.
