Tyler ISD Encourages Parents to Register Students Early

TYLER – Tyler ISD is encouraging parents to avoid the first day rush by registering students early for the 2014-2015 school year. Tyler ISD campuses will be open for parents to register their children beginning Monday, August 11.
Parents must bring the following items to complete the registration process:
• Birth Certificate for each student
• Social Security Card for each student
• Current Immunization Records for each student
• Proof of Residency (water bill, electric bill, etc. in the parent/guardian name)
• Withdrawal form(s) from previous school (if moving from another district)
• The parent/guardian must provide their driver’s license or photo ID.
Due to construction, the front offices at Dixie and Rice elementary schools will be closed through August 15 and will re-open Monday, August 18. While these offices are temporarily closed, parents registering children for Dixie Elementary School can do so at the Jones Elementary School campus, 3450 Chandler Highway. Parents registering children for Rice Elementary School can do so at the Andy Woods Elementary School campus, 3131 Frye Avenue.
