Jacksonville Police Continue Search for Missing Man
Posted/updated on: August 28, 2014 at 5:12 pmJACKSONVILLE — Police continue to search for a 28-year-old man who has been missing since January. Randal Rahushun Roberson reportedly left Jacksonville about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, en route to New Summerfield, and never arrived at his location. He also never returned to his residence. According to KETK, he was traveling in a white 1995 Mercury Cougar, which police say was found abandoned the following Thursday on a county road just north of New Summerfield.
“We are making progress in this case and have developed suspects… we continue to pursue evidence which will lead to a successful prosecution in this case,” Jacksonville Police Detective James Oden told the Jacksonville Daily Progress. Oden said that since the investigation is ongoing he cannot release any new information, but that police have received a number of leads.
Roberson has black hair and brown eyes. He is 6-foot, 1-inch tall and weighs 210 pounds. He has a tattoo of a Bentley car logo on his chest and a tattoo that reads “Donovan Ray” on his neck. He was last seen wearing a black ball cap, dark blue t-shirt, black pants, blue and black Nike Jordans, and a silver necklace with a silver pendant attached.
