Fourth Suspect Arrested in Longview Area Bank Robbery
Posted/updated on: September 3, 2014 at 1:43 pmLONGVIEW — Authorities have arrested the fourth suspect in a mid-August Longview-area bank robbery. According to KETK, law enforcement officials said Jarray Rashad Todd was arrested at his home in the 4300 block of Patton Drive in Longview on August 30 for aggravated robbery. The suspect was wanted on an FBI warrant out of Dallas in connection with a recent Austin Bank robbery.
Shortly after 4:00pm on August 11, Gregg County deputies responded to a bank robbery near the Bar-K store on Highway 259. One of the robbers, who was armed with a shotgun, took money and left in 13 seconds. During this time, a second suspect stood guard outside and a third was in the getaway vehicle. Three other alleged bank robbers were taken into custody within a couple of days of the crime. Hanna Ponce, Broderick Pippins and Christian Ponce were all charged with aggravated robbery.
