Smith County Diesel Theft Investigated

SMITH COUNTY — Authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying the person involved in a Smith County theft on Sunday night. According to KETK, Precinct 4 Constable John Smith says a man stole diesel from a ranch in the 4400 block of County Road 313 West, or Sand Flat Road. The thief is described as a white male, about 18 to 20 years old. A picture of his truck was taken by surveillance at the location. The vehicle is believed to be a newer model Chevy 4-door pickup with four inch tires and chrome rims.
