Tyler Business Robbed

TYLER � Tyler police continue looking for the armed man who robbed the Family Dollar Store at 1401 East Gentry Parkway around 8:30 Thursday night. Witnesses say the suspect entered the business through the front door and immediately displayed a handgun while demand money from the clerk. After taking an undetermined amount of cash the suspect fired a single round inside the business and then fled. No one was injured. A search of the area turned up no trace of the suspect. He was described as a black male, 5�9″ to 6�0″ tall, 200 to 220 pounds and wearing a black shirt, a yellow raincoat, blue jeans, and a dark colored cloth mask. The suspect matches the description of the man who robbed the Dollar Store at 1527 WNW Loop 323 Monday night.
