One Dead in Travel Trailer Explosion, Fire

WILLS POINT (AP) – A man has been found dead after an explosion and fire in a travel trailer parked at a marina along an East Texas lake. The Van Zandt County Fire Marshal’s Office says the blaze happened Wednesday morning at the Holiday Marina near Wills Point, along Lake Tawakoni. Fire Marshal Chuck Allen says an autopsy has been ordered on the 54-year-old man, whose name wasn’t immediately released. Allen says emergency personnel received a call about a man possibly with heart problems. Authorities discovered there had been a small explosion and fire near an oxygen concentrator at the residence. The fire was already out when emergency responders arrived. Officials believe the man lived alone in the travel trailer.
