Cherokee County Man Uninjured in Fatal East Texas Wreck

CENTER � A Cherokee County man has escaped injury in a fatal accident in Shelby County. The wreck happened just before 12:15 Monday morning on U.S. Highway 96, about ten miles south of Center. Dead at the scene was Cory Dow Stovall, 44, of San Saba. The Department of Public Safety said Stovall�s minivan was northbound when it crossed the center line and collided with a tractor-trailer truck driven by James Lee Fuller, 69, of Jacksonville. The minivan caught fire and burned. The accident remains under investigation.
