Rate Changes Planned for Toll 49

EAST TEXAS — Drivers who use Toll 49 should plan for an increase in the toll rates effective on January 1, 2015. According to Everett Owen, Interim Executive Director of the North East Texas Regional Mobility Authority advised, the toll rate adjustments are not new. It was decided back in February that the rate adjustments would be incremental during the 2014 calendar year to bring Tyler closer to the state average.
